CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi Darth, welcome, praying for your mom's hand. Let me invite you to present your prayer request on the prayer request forum and over on the Catholic forum. Father, Your scriptures say that "where two or more are gather in My name there I am in the midst of them." They also say that if we ask, believing that it is done...that it will be given us. Today I stand here with my brother darth_cracker and my sister Deb7777 believing in your healing touch to totally restore to darth_cracker's Mom, the usage of her hand. We are trusting in you to protect her body from any possible side affects from medicine she may be taking for pain or to infection. We are also asking for a speedy recovery. In the mean time I pray Father that You would enable the family members to willingly do the chores she normally would do until she is capable of doing them so that her work load would not be so tremendous upon recovery. We also want to thank You for her son's concern for her welfare. Please bless this family we pray and we give You all praise and honor and glory and thanks in advance for her healing. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen!
