I have a friend who is in foster care. Her, her foster sybling, and fosater parents started coming to our church around 2 yrs ago. But in Feb. she came to me really upset. She said that she was switching foster homes, becuase her current parents said thatthey were getting to old to handle a tennager, which is redicoulous to both me, and anyone who knows this girl, becuase she's not a typicla rebelous teen, she;'s really sweet, and doesn't deserve to be tossed around like this. So she told me all this, but couldn't bring herself to tell anyone else at chuirch including PB, our youth pastor. So since that night was her last night she asked me to tell PB the next day on our ski trip, and if anyone else asks to let them know as well. SHe said she would emai me, but i have sent her more then one email and she hasn't responded. Before she left she siad she ws going to a family in the area, but htye were a different denomination, and wouldn't let her come back to our youth gorup. Pb was goign to see if he could talk to him, but i don't think he can find out where she went. I'm really concerned about where she culd be, and i'm prayibng that she is in a good home and iks able to go to a good chuirch. For all inkow she could be back in Florida where she came from, but i just don't know. PLEASE PRAY.

If shes moved from one to another foster home, there could be many reasons for her not contacting. I've been in the same situation when younger. It takes time to let go of your previous family and at present she may get upset at the thought of contacting you, another issue could be the denomination, she could be being stopped from Emailing you, or she may simply not have an up and running computer or it could be broke. Write her a letter and send it by post then see if you get a response.

I personally think she has been causing the foster parents a lot of trouble.Her foster parents couldn't handle her, nor the continues hurt that she brings on them. Call it rebellous, or normal but i don't think she has brougth in the happyness into the family that her foster parents hoped for. Such a case must always be looked from both sides, it also must be hard on her not having any parents and so little to relate to or to be happy about

I'm not sure what Anti Existance was tryng to say, but I'm happy to report that she did e-mail saying that she is happy, she's going to church 3 times a week, and she just now had time to responde to a mountian of emails. Thank you for those who prayed for her.
