For those who haven't met me yet, my name is 20misti05--misti for short. I am a clinically depressed, self-harming 17-year-old who also has high anxiety, ADHD, and possibly OCD.
I could really use some prayer right about now...I don't know why but I feel very meloncholic and down. I really wanna cut, just to get rid of the numbness. I feel nothing...its just one step away from being nothing. Not that I'm suicidal--I'm not. I couldn't do it...least not now.
Please, please just pray for me!

Dear Misty

The Lord Jesus said that we will do greater things than He did because He is going away to the Father and then later tells us that He is sending the Holy Spirit to us. Misty, the Holy Spirit is the best friend I have. When He is with me, and I do my best to always stay really focused on Him so that I know that He is near.. I mean know it in a real way... but, when He is with me, life is never slow and boring. He is the most exciting friend.

He needs you kiddo.. to be His bestest friend too. Together the two of you can change the lives of many people. He will heal you and you can help others get out of the places where you have been.

I will be praying for your friendship. You will never be down again.

Thanks guys--my dad moved my appointment with my psychiatrist from Wednesday to today, cuz we'll be out of town on Wednesday. I'll tell him what's up--and that I think I have OCD, even though my dad doesn't think so. And tomorrow I see my therapist--she's Christian, so we'll definitely have some prayer time. I think I'm gonna do a TheoPhostic session tomorrow...TheoPhostic is total prayer. It's really cool.
I'll keep ya'll posted.
