please pray

hi, the prayer forum is SO non busy, so i'm posting here becuase this is urgent.

one of my close friends michelle and her husband have a baby about 3 1/2 months old. she was born 3 weeks prematurely, so that might be part of the problem. the baby, grace, wont keep food down. she was in the hospital for a few days, very very dehydrated, and they put her on meds, but that didnt seem to help. they have tried all kinds of foods. the doctors said grace has acid reflux. she has to eat tiny amounts about ever half hour to keep her weight on.

NOW, she is back in the hospital, i am told with a tube in her nose. they are thinking of sending her down to vancouver. this is really serious. she is 3 months old, and barely over her birth weight. please, ppl, pray!?

thanks, guys....

with the feeding tube she is not throwing the food up - i guess it's bypassing her stomach. she has been throwing up food after it's been in her stomach for 4 or 5 hours - they say it shouldnt be there that long, so there is something wrong with her stomach too. when they start her on the bottle again, if she still cant keep it down, they might have to send her to vancouver to get a feeding tube put through her side directly into her small intestine. if she has gained any weight by morning they will try the bottle again in small quantities.

Lord, You are the maker of this precious little one. You know her insides. You are a God of miracles, of power, of health and holiness. Lord, I pray that this little one would be completely healed and that her weight would increase and that she would quickly have baby fat rolls on her body. By the stipes of Jesus there is health in this infant's flesh. Lord, nourish her. Lord, give her parents and loved ones the peace that passes all understanding. Lord, you are health to her flesh. In Jesus name. Amen.
