My name is Sarah and my husband's name is Robbie. I am writing to you today to request prayer. There are a couple things we need help with and I personally have been praying for a while about almost all of them. We are in debt. We have 2 mortgages, a car loan, a credit card and a small student loan. I find this to be such a huge burden and strain. I find that we don't have the money to tithe and when the bills are paid (which they are) there is very few dollars left over. I have prayed about this and the Lord has showed me that if we sell one of our properties, we can pay one mortgage, the car loan and the credit card off. This would be such a relief for us and we could put the money to better use by tithing and offerings. We just put the house up for sale last week. We are asking that you pray that the house will be sold fast with a profit enough to pay off those three things. This is such a desperate prayer. Please pray this for us. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
