The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You are in my prayers, I know at times it is hard, However I know you and your husband have been blessed with so many children for a reason, The Lord gives us what he knows we can handel. Hang in there! May I ask how many children you have? I will keep you in my thoughts and prayrs, Just remember being a parent is a wonderful thing and we all learn as we go.

With haveing 6 wonderful children, I know it has to be hard dealing with different ages, they all have a mind and temper of there own, However please keep the relationship between you and your husband alive! Remember to take time out for eachother, I know it is hard, Even a short walk holding hands will mean alot, If time and the kids will alow! Go out on a date ever so often and relax, I am still praying for you and your family,

Lord, I lift up this couple to you that has so many children and can get so overwhelmed. Lord, I pray that you will bring comfort and peace in both of their hearts. Peace be with them as they raise these children. Give them discernment and wisdom in all their days for these children. I pray an open heaven of your love to them to minister and refresh them when they sleep at night so that they are restored and refreshed to take on another day of a huge responsibility of raising children. Lord, just cover them with your love.
