A little boy, about 8 years old or so goes to my church. His name is Tyler Tate. Tyler may only be 8 but he has had a rough life. Tyler has never known his real daddy and I don't think anybody but his momma knew what happened to him. But he lived with his mom, his step dad, and his step sister. Tyler's mom, Michelle, was very sick. She had lung cancer. She had fought this disease for years but one day they found 3 little spots on her lungs. After that she got the sickest she had ever been. Soon they knew she was going to die. Her husband (Tylers step dad) started to feel guilty because he used to be a drunk and felt he didn't treat Michelle right and so one Wednesday night he shot himself in his trailor. That was the only father Tyler ever knew. Not long after, his mother, died in the hospital. Michelle was only in her early 30's when she died but at least she's not in pain anymore. Tyler went to live with his aunt. His aunt is single with no other children. Tyler has friends and family who constantly support him and who are there for him, but him and Michelle's family and friends really need our prayers. Michelle died in October and I know that some havent come to really accept that yet. Michelle is now in Heaven. I know that, but little Tyler is still here. He's only 8 yrs old and has had both his parents die. Please pray that Tyler will not hold this against God, that he will lean on God and pray that God's will be done in his life and he would be surrounded by good Christian people who love him. God has something big planned for Tyler. I don't know what...but it's going to be BIG!! Thanks guys.
