  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Please pray for my former/current friends

Due to a disagreement, some friends that I knew a couple years ago abandoned me. I have some bitterness and pain about it in my heart, but God tells me to love and accept each other, to be patient, to comfort, forgive, and be generous with each other; and of course to pray for each other. So, would you please help me soften my heart by joining me in praying for them. Many thanks, friends.

One of the nicest words I've come across. Seems you already have a soft heart, but it never hurts to continue seeking God. I'll pray for you to have your heart soften always in life, for God to answer your prayers in faith; for you and your friends not let the past weigh y'all down going forward, and to find comfort and peace when life is difficult. May God bless y'all with well-being and forgiveness.

Praying for you and your friends. Forgiveness is not easy, (for me it is one of the most difficult things to achieve) I pray that whatever falling out or disagreements you've had may not separate you and you will be able to remain friends. I pray that you can forgive them and if they abandoned you may you find better people to call your friends. In Jesus name, Amen.
