Please pray for my father.

So basically it’s been a hard old 3 months with my dad as he had this eye infection which was meant to clear up in 2-3 weeks and it just got worse from there on it’s been going on for about 1 month now to the point where he can generally not see at all in one eye. As a fellow Christian I ask that you include him in your prayers tonight. His name is Gary and I just ask you all to ask for his healing and for him to be able to see properly again. The overall effect and upset it has caused to me and the rest of my family Is huge.. struggling to cope :/

Father, there seems to be more than just a physical eye problem, but a spiritual eye problem as well. I pray that You will help Gary and his family really "see" what You would have them to see. I pray that You will use this physical eye problem to draw attention to their spiritual eye problem, and that they will "see" both of these problems solved through seeking and finding Your will for them in this time in their lives. May they call upon You to ask what You want to teach and show them, being willing to follow whatever You answer. Amen.

I would recommend that You go to a eye specializing doctor. I did when I was told I had eye infection which I did not have. Another doctor said I could have gone blind if I did not had another opinion. It looked like iritis for me. Iritis has many similar "siblings" and a specialist must have the right mashinery and equipment to look deep into the eye to be able to give the right treatment so one gets well faster. Iritis can not be cured with eyeinfection drops. One can also get herpes or rosaceae in the eye but it is not so common. So I recommend a specialist.

I’m sorry to learn about the situation with your dad, Jamie. I can understand the feelings you expressed. Know that I’ll be praying for Gary, asking the Lord to touch him with His healing hand and restore his eyesight, according to His will. I’ll also pray that He will surround you, your dad, and the rest of your family with His peace during this difficult time.
