My cousin recently found out she was pregnant. She is 17 years old (she will be 18 in august). She took a test as a joke, and just about fell over when she saw it was positive. She told her mom, and her mom proceded to call her a sl*t (she is not by any means) and kick her out of the house. Luckily, her dad (my uncle) is handling it well. They haven't told the rest of the family yet, my sister and I are the only others who know. I am really hoping that my family will be supportive of her. Unlike many girls her age, she has already graduated highschool, she is working 2 jobs, and in school to become an e.m.t. She and her boyfriend are probably going to get married, but nothings set in stone yet. Just please pray that this doesn't tear my family apart, she really needs support right now and I don't know how things will go over with everyone else.
May God comfort and guide you cousin and protect her from harsh words; may His Spirit soften her mother's heart, and give strength and guidence to your family
