SHE IS A TROUBLED TEEN WITH A HISTORY OF ABUSE CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE. She has difficulty controlling her behaviors and has been in a lot of fights. She is distrustful of adults and challenges authority often. Her foster family is caring well for her but she may be placed in residential treatment (psychiatric facility for children) for a while due to ongoing problems. She has potential to improve but low self-esteem. Her relationships with her peers are poor due to lack of trust and continuing manipulating behavior on her part. Her foster parents, an informal mentor, her social worker and others are attempting to instill positive values with her and are addressing problems on a daily basis. Since her grades are too low for her to participate in sports that is a problem but the FPs and teachers are working with her to improve. In the summer the plan is for her to play church league softball if she's not in RT. Please pray for her and those who are trying to help her. Thank you.
