Hello my name is Jakob. I am trying to stop watching porn and masturbating. please pray for me i have been fighting against these sins a couple years now. I really want this sickness to disappear from my life.

I hate doing it and i become really angry at myself after i fall. I hit things (not other people) and myself sometimes for doing it. But it is so hard for me to stop.

You could try to address everything on the outside carnally but you'd be better off truly seeking spiritually and finding God's love

Don't misunderstand. You need the right reading of the Bible. The slightest omission or addition can change the meaning, so if you're having fellowship with people under the Law I don't understand how you could expect anything different than the same struggle trying to act nearly perfect in something like perpetual remission

Most of the time it is a process, but little by little by the awesome grace of God, you can reclaim the territory that the devil has taken from you. With the power of God living in you, you can overcome! Praise God for every victory, and on those occasions when you fall, get up, repent and ask His forgiveness. Father, I pray this one will realize they need to change their battle plans if they are not working; that they either need to drop, replace, or add some "tactics" to the battle plan. May they find the plan that works, and drop the plan that doesn't. May they receive the wisdom and knowledge to know how to win this battle. May they find what really motivates, and really works. May they learn to follow and trust what Your Word says, and to do this in the Spirit, empowered by the Spirit and not in their own strength. May they take the practical steps to prepare in advance to take the practical steps that are needed at the right time and in the right way. May they see the big picture of this war, and not just the tunnel vision of individual skirmishes/battles. May they come to understand how victory is not only possible, but attainable. May they understand how You want them to win, and will help them to win, by following Your instructions. May they not get discouraged when they lose a battle, but utilize the spiritual health kit that You provide through the atoning work of Christ's blood shed for all our sins. May You protect them from the lies of the enemy, and embolden them to fight the fight in yieldedness to Your Spirit. May they put on the whole armor of God, and wield the Sword of the Spirit in power. Ephesians 6:10-20. Amen.
