  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If anyone reads this, please pray that I pass as many classes as I need and that I can stay in school. If I don't pass, I'll have to move back in with my parents and they don't like me going to church, so I wouldn't be able to go anymore. Plus they will be furious if I flunk out of school I'm so, so afraid of what else they might do. Thank you so much...

Praying for you Matrona, that you will do well in your classes so that you will be able to stay in school. May God help keep you focused and open your mind while you study and help you to retain the knowledge you are learning. May He help you to get plenty of rest and to give you a sense of peace and calmness in the weeks to come as finals approach. :prayer:
