I would like to request prayer for something that has been a struggle in my life for a long time. I have been smoking for about 15 years and it has gotten to a point where it is effecting my life. Not only do I feel it is a bad wittiness, but I am a single father and don't make a lot of money so I really can't afford it.
I am going to be putting down the habit tomorrow, My withdrawals are supper strong and I have failed many times trying to quit.
I would be grateful for your prayers for strength to kick this habit. My strength verse is:
Phil 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I pray O Lord that you give my strength to get rid of this habit that has plated me for so very long. I thank you for all you have done for me in this past year and put my trust in You O Lord and thank you for your patients and mercy in my walk to strengthen our relationship.
