Please pray for me...

Hello, y'all. It's been a while since I've been here, but I greatly need prayer.

I keep falling into sin. Lust, to be more exact. I just can't seem to get away from it. I always ask forgiveness after I sin, but when I am repenting, I fall right back into the same sin. I feel awful and fear that, since I keep falling into the same sin while knowing that it is a sin, the Lord will not forgive me. That is why I ask you to pray for me. It is all just unbearable. I love the Lord and want to serve Him and only Him; however, my sinful nature often gets the best of me, and I can't stand it. I just can't be as close to God as I want to be with sin still in my life afteraccepting Him into my heart. All I can say is "forgive me" and repent... but I just want a better relationship with Him. I want it so very much. I want His blessed peace with me in my heart once again. Any prayer would be greatly appreciated.

Hang in there. Lust is a problem for many of us - not just you.

I find mine is slowly getting better though failure is still a regular occurance for me. Strange as it seems, I find God is still helping me in my life even with my sin problems.

I repent often. I make an effort to do better. I talk with Christians I trust. I don't air my dirty laundry with everyone though. Confession doesn't mean being a martyr or making yourself a target. I know who my spiritual mentors are. I share the shortcomings with them and pray to the Lord.

just keep bringing it to Jesus .......he never gets tired of our talking to Him.....better to confess it right away then let it build up ......your not alone in the daily confession ....we all struggle in one way or another.....even though people "look" like a perfect christian.....there is none righteous no not one......
