  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi everyone,
I`m new to the sight, and firstly would like to say hi and thanks for having me.
I really need some help to get to know Jesus. I have made several efforts to get to know him but something has always stopped me. I am living a life where i give into temptation a lot, i just cant seem to fight the bad influences in my life. I want to believe in God but i`ve just never had a relationship with him or any faith in him despite my prayers. Can i ask your help as i make a last chance to see him out?

Heavenly Father...
I will give thanks to You....
for You are good...
and Your love endures forever !

I lift justme86 to you this day.
Father.... she is struggling with Faith in You.

But, you know this, Lord...
as You know everything.

Will you direct justme86 to Your Holy Word?
Will you address the sin in justme86's life?

Father...
until we have dealt with our sin...
everything seems to be blocked.

Our relationship with You must start with our acknowledgement of our sin against You...our Holy God.

Show her, Father.
And....then begin Your mighty work in her.

Father....
You are worthy of all our Praise !
You are Great and Awesome !
There is none like You.

Thank you for loving us...
and for sending Your Son to die for our sin.
In His Name I pray.
Amen.

1. Realize that you are a sinner.
No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. We all fall short of God’s desire for us to be holy. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one” (Romans 3:10 NLT). This is because we cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.

2. Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.
The Bible tells us, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 NLT). This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.

3. Repent of your sin.
The Bible tells us to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19 NKJV). The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.

4. Receive Jesus Christ into your life.
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . . .” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV).

If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Christ means God has forgiven you and that you will spend eternity in heaven. The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV).

To put your faith in action, be sure to spend time with God by reading your Bible, praying, going to church, and telling others about Christ. Register your decision and gain access to spiritual tools and resources at the harvest.org Web site.

Sometimes it's hard to get to know him if we don't spend time with him. If you are living the life you said, just like you see your 'other' friends, begin to go places where you will meet different influences in your life.

Temptation will always be there - even Jesus was tempted - but the more of his spirit we have within us, the more we can resist. Think about listening to music. The last song you heard will stay in your head even if you don't like it until another one takes it out.

Dear Father - Thank you for justme86 reaching out to you and having a desire to learn to live life for you. Please bless this request with new friends, different places to go, a comfortable beginning of a relationship with you by learning the word of God. We know you bless all good desires. I pray that you would hinder everything that wuld prevent her from starting this new life. Keep her until she is strong enough to begin to say no to wrong things on her own. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Be encouraged! Start your new life! Enjoy it and grow!

Thankyou so much everyone for your prayers and advice! I guess that i have always got so caught up in the rules i have to follow and worried about other people so much that i complicated things and really forgot just to spend time with God. I have bought myself a book about Jesus and I am going to pray every night and spend some more time with Jesus. Thankyou all you are all very kind.

Praise God!!!! O Wonderful Councilor! Lord, Continue to bless this young woman. Fill her this day with Your Mighty Spirit. Lead her O Lord, into the path of Righteousness. Lord, thank You for the Mercy and the Grace You pour upon Your Children. Show her Father Your Lovingkindness, Your Patience, and Your Ways. Let her look not towards the world nor it's desires, but seek You, knowing that it is there that she will find peace.
In the Mighty name of Jesus Christ i pray, Amen
