  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Please pray for me....

I feel that way sometimes, Jesaiah. But they are only feelings and not truth! Read the Word, the Truth of God, and let the truth of His love for you fill you with joy! Then, you will notice the empty feelings will vanish. I will pray for you too.

Father-I lift Jesaiah up to you today. I ask that you comfort him and bring calmness and peace to his heart. Help him to feel your presence today in a way that he knows without a doubt that You love him and care for him. Help bring joy back to his heart. Be close to him and just hold him up. In Jesus name, Amen.

Jesus loves you Jesaiah!

Father, we know we are not alone when we have you in our life. But what do we do about lonliness and the empty feelings which seem to pop up from nowhere? Life is so difficult at times. Depression is not a good feeling and does nothing positive for our walk with you, so why must we sometimes feel this way? Do we lack faith? Do we lack confidence in ourselves or in You? What is missing from the relationship that we long to have with you? Please reveal to this friend what he can do about this situation. Send your Holy Spirit to the rescue. Fill this person's heart with your love and with the peace You promise to give to us. Search His soul and cast out fear, doubt, and sadness. Your Word speaks of peace that surpasses all understanding. Whatever it is that satan thinks he can use to breed doubt and confusion, let it pass. Nothing is impossible with You Lord. You are far more powerful than we all are. Continue to love us and stregthen us with what tools we need to fight any spiritual battles that come our way. We know we can not do it without You. Help us to all be still and listen to You. You are the one in control, not us, not evil, nothing. Bless this person with a clear mind and conscience. If there is something he can do to rectify this problem, show him. You are the way, the truth and the life he longs to have. I believe You will not forsake him. He is one of your own.

This is where to go. To God and His Word. We have all been where you are. Start reading your Bible. Talk to God and let Him talk to you.
Ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Don't give up, walk by faith not by sight.
I will pray for you!
Hang tough and put on the whole armour of God to do battle.

Hang in there, Jesaiah. God is always with you and will see you through this time.

Am praying for you.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

I would like to thank all of you who have prayed for me :) I am beginning to feel better and that is only because of God's Word. I used to let times like this pull me away from God and try to fix things on my own, but this time I turned to God and His Word. I thought who in the Bible felt or would have felt like I was feeling, so I turned to the Book of Job. I began to read what he endured and how he reacted. I just began to try and apply it to my life. God's Word is sufficient for all things! I have learned from this experience; Romans 8:28 is definately true!
