  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi all,

Please pray for me.  I am struggling a bit right now.  I am exhausted because I have to take care of my wife and our 2 year old daughter, and work, and keep house, and take care of all of life's daily burdens.  I am having days where I don't feel strong enough to do it.  I've had a couple days where I have actually been angry at my situation.  I don't mean to be, just getting kind of burned out.  I have gone back to work now, so I have even more stress about them being taken care of while I am gone.  I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, and I have been struggling more lately with coping with the loss of our other daughter.  Please just prayer for me to have strength.  Thanks.

Lord, please bring dewjunkie all the help he needs. Bring him people who will help with the household chores. Bring him people to help him and his family adjust to their new situation. Bring him people who will help him and his wife greive for their lost daughter. Dewjunkie needs you now more than ever Lord, to be real and involved in his life. Honor his continued faith in you by giving him your strength in time of weakness. Amen.
