Please pray for me

I went to a quack dentist (who I didn't know was a quack at the time) in late 1999 and in 2000 until about March. This dentist did two root canals on a tooth in the lower right side of my mouth (along with a lot of fillings in other teeth). By about July of 2000, the root canal failed, and I had to have it redone by another dentist, who said that repair was hopeless due to the damage that the quack did, but repaired it anyway.

That repair lasted until about August of last year. My tooth has gotten progressively worse since then. Now, as I write this, it is abcessed. It doesn't hurt much because there is little or no living tissue within the tooth, however it is uncomfortable, I can't chew on that side of my mouth, and the abcess could go into my jaw or brain.

I need you to pray that I will find a competent reconstructive dentist/endodontist who will do the work at a reasonable price. As I am on a state dental plan which has no or few skilled dentists, this looks impossible. My family nor I can afford the work that needs to be done (which is basically removal of the tooth and replacement with the appropriate bridge.)

Please pray for this.

I'm sorry to hear that, Susan! I would have perhaps recommended for suing for malpractice, but you said you don't have a lot of money...

There has to be a way to get that dentist to pay a price.

We wanted to sue, but decided not to after finding out the time, money, and whatever else it would have taken.
Now the ststute of limitations is up (I think)
Now I have to go fix my photo, having some problems with it.
I'm crying because it has been just a bad week, you know

Praying for you Susan.   And I hope you are on antibiotics.  My husband had an absessed tooth a couple weeks ago, it was very painful.  He could hardly eat or chew.  Susan, praying that God will bless you with a good dentist.  I believe everything will be fine!

 

PS---Susan, I just felt within my spirit to ask you if you have forgiven the bad dentist for the damage he did to you?

I have, but it is hard to keep forgiving, with the reminder of the bad work in my mouth all of the time. . .
Mine isn't too painful because of all the previous work done on it (it's basically a shell tooth with very little feeling left in it) however I do need to get those antibiotics for it I guess.
