Please pray for me

Right now I'm a freshman in college. My major right now is in Computer Science, but I really don't know if I want to do that for the rest of my life. Some days I'll feel like this stuff is very interesting, other days I'll hate the material. I'm just so confused right now about what I should do, if I should keep my current major or switch to something else. What I decide to do now impacts what I will do for the rest of my life.

It seems like all the topics that I am very interested don't have very many jobs related to them.

Please pray that I can recieve guidance from God. I'm worried that I may make a wrong decision now, giving me a career that I dislike.

Dream, don't but into effects the rest of your life stuff.
If your will to put in the work you can always do something diffrent.
Don't lock your self down allways be willing to grow and learn and tommorow can be diffrent.

The degree gets you a foot in the door what happens after that is up to you.
Liberal Arts majors become technical employs, technical majors become mangers.

This is the biggest step, DT. God is not shy about sharing His plans -- He just needs people to ask.

You have a couple of years to be a little wishywashy. Concentrate on your required courses first, get them out of the way, maybe experiment with some different type of degree courses and give yourself time to think.

praying!! There is a holy card put out by our diocese that recommends praying three times slowly everyday "God -what do you want me to do with my life?"- pausing in reflective silence in between.

Life has a funny way of not turning out anything at all like you planned it to be or what you thought it would be like- it's much better to figure out what God wants and do that- then you have blessed assurance in times of stress or difficulty!
