  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's what I came here to post ! :cry: That is so cool, I'm glad prayers have been going up, that is my worst fear, and the one thing I'm not sure I could make it through..the loss of one of my children. We do need to pray. Pray for Elizabeth, in whatever she may be going through, and pray for her parents. The list is endless...peace, comfort, strength,calmness,hopefulness...I am praying.

I'm praying for Elizabeth as well...I saw this story last night on the news in Missouri and pray for her father, little sister and the rest of her family as well as Elizabeth. Truely sad story but will pray for a happy ending. Love and God bless and believe in the power of prayer and faith.

Oh, how very, very sad. I once lost a friend to a kidnapper, so this hits really close to home for me.
I am praying through tears she be returned. I am praying, if it is not too late that the kidnapper have a change of heart. I am praying the mom and dad be strengthened for the battle ahead. I am praying she is at peace. I am praying the mom and dad will be given the peace of God.
Father in Heaven, please provide and protect this family and bring back the little girl. If it is not in your will
Abba Father, use it to bring positive and not a negative change in her families lives, and use it to bring them closer to eachother and to you. Oh, Father, cloak all of them in your preciously kind love. Give them a covering of your heavenly blessings. I praise your Name. I ask all these things in Jesus name.
