Annie,
You are getting me confused.
I thought that this was the thread that you wanted closed.
You have three of these threads (yes, the other was just closed).

My prayers that you will keep improving and glorify God in your wellness. :)
Hi Maria,
I have THREE  (sickness) threads; news to me  You forgot ^_^ to give me a Linkie

Basically, I don't want ANY-threads that mention a "hospital" anymore.
The one I was in, 3-times the past 6 months, is only
8 blocks from the house; that is way TOO close for my comfort.
I can't even bring myself to drive past there, & it's a major street around here.
So why would I want to post here, & have even more :sorry:reminders of that  Halloween-joint. No!! thanks.

Now do you understand a bit better? Hopefully.

THANK  *you* all kindly  for faithfully praying for me doing Good...

Here #165 the progress I've made as far as: nearly pain-free , again sleeping well ,
retaining all Nourishments , so (19 days post-op) I work to increase ENERGY-tolerance...

Today I ably drank a whole quart in 8 hours; goal is 1/2-gallon daily.
Would you like to pray that daily I can do this, as THIS is crucial.
Thanks again, & GOD Bless you all

My prayers for you Annie. :)
Thanks so much Maria, & Colleen, & EVERYone,

Dumb: most of my family is chronically-dehydrated,
incldg. me  so, it's a HUGE challenge for me to even think,
let alone DO 'drink 1/2 gallon' daily. <- like telling me to
Drink the ocean dry ^_^ obviously not gonna happen!

I hafta play silly games like: ooh, I wonder how much FUN
it will be to see how fast :D I can drink this ...

(Gag on plain  water, dont drink coffee, nor alcoholic junk). So it's hot Herb-tea,
hot apple-cider, hot mint-chocolate :yum: Fruit-juices

Tea can be dehydrating too, so be careful how much you drink daily.
There are flavored waters now (not sure how good they are :p), or even just adding a lemon slice &/or a bit of a natural sweetener to filtered water.
 Jello, popsicles, .....homemade soups?
Hope that helps  God bless you.

Um, no. That dehydrating tea myth was dispelled, &
published in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2006.
And
I only drink uncaffeinated HERB-teas, or Lipton instant unsweetened teas.

There are flavored waters now
(not sure how good they are),
Every "flavored" anything I ever read INgredients on, and I CHECK every one,
lists either
1. CORN-syrup --- horrendously Genetically modified
or
2. Artificial sweeteners: As of 2006, the FDA approved 5 different Sugar-substitutes as declared SAFE: Aspartame,
Acesulfame K, Neotame, Saccharin, & Sucralose
/Splenda; (all either PROVEN, or suspected, Carcinogens):
of which Aspartame is the worst, as Researches found over 70-ADVERSE reactions from it,
starting with the fact "Excito-TOXIN", meaning it KILLS brain cells: Alzheimers, anyone??

or even just adding a lemon slice &/or a bit of a natural sweetener to filtered water.

JELLO, naturally made from GELATIN, now this is GOOD
at 55, my knees started whimpering :o on the ice during practice... HALLO! no time for such nonsense!
so-
I ate MORE jello for a while, and BINGO!! - my knees have behaved :D themselves ever since.

and

ooh, BROTH & THIN SOUPS: excellent  idea!! Thanks :) Gail

Ahhh...good to know all that

I forgot about the decaffeinated teas......allergies prevent me from indulging in even herbals for the most part these days.

The flavored drinks as I said...I had no idea how they might be; I don't use them at all and never read the ingredients ;)

I eat/drink only non -processed foods/beverages for the most part ....with a few rare exceptions.

FRESH is best for me (actually all of us), though it can be challenging for sure
