Please pray against bitterness

Hi! If anyone has a minute to pray for me, I would appreciate it.

This weekend my ministry team will be hosting an event, and I am doing a lot of work on it. My other team members are not stepping up to do hardly anything, even though I have specifically asked for their help. The only other person who works hard not be there for the actual event.

It kills me to see capable men sitting on their duffs contributing nothing.

People not taking responsibility is a sore subject in my life, so I am starting to feel bitter. Praise God that He has done a lot to make sure this event will come off well and is to His glory, but I also need help in keeping my attitude Christ-like.

I don't envy you in this project. There seems to be a special trick to motivating people, and I'm not sure how to accomplish it. Since I have given my heart to Jesus, I have become very humble and tend not to speak out in the masses. I know others take advantage of this at work. I will pray for you that all goes well. Remember, if the Lord is not in it, it will not matter anyways. If it is guided by the Holy Spirit, how could it not succeed. Anything that is not of the Lord, will burn as a flash in the pan. I will pray that you are taken seriously by others around you and that they will come to your aid when you call out to them.

I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers. I've been on an emotional rollercoaster today, and it has shown me that I have very low trust and respect for men. I expect the worst, and when they live "down" to my expectations, I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall.

I will need to bring this to the Lord. In the meantime, I really appreciate the encouraging prayers.

just prayed for you ;and i know this feeling all too well.its a destructive but human one.bitterness. you have to look at how Jesus was treated and sure its easier said than done but if you find this beyond tolerable,just ask HIM for help.God be your guide here.
