Please, not cancer!

Hi, Prayer Warriors.  I haven't been around for awhile, but please know that I pray for "everyone on this board" each day.

I'm here to ask for prayers for myself.  I had a mammogram on the 16th, and they have a new procedure where they send the films to their main office to be read by a computer program.  It's called R2.  My insurance doesn't pay for this, but since it was $20, I forked it over.  It's reputed to be able to find things that the human eye would miss.

Well, yesterday I got a phone call saying I had to go to the main office for additional views of my left breast.  I'm a bit nervous.  I had two biopsies on that side awhile ago.  Both proved benign, so I'm praying that this, too will not be cancer.  I appreciate any help in the way of prayers.

While not as worrying, I also got a call yesterday (it was just a "great day") saying my cholesterol and triglycerides, which have been terrific for years, are up.  If you could insert a prayer for me to lower these without medication, I'd appreciate it.  Not as important as the first prayer, though.

As for the cholesterol being suddenly elevated, have your thyroid checked. Elevated cholesterol is an early symptom of hypothyroid.

Thanks to everyone who prayed for me!  The doctor doesn't think that these things are cancer, however, I will have to go for another mammogram in 6 months to see if there are any changes.  But I'm praising God, and believing that He will keep me cancer-free.

I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner with an update, but I haven't been on the computer since the day I asked for prayers.  I AM praying for everyone here each and every day.  May God bless all of you abundantly.
