Hi all, I just signed up to see if someone here could tell me the name of a song, or at least the Christian artist. I used to have the video on youtube bookmarked, but that computer crashed and I lost the bookmark. Now, I can't remember any of the words to it, or the artist (I think I only liked that one song by them anyway). What's weird is that I can remember most all of the video of the song so I will describe it and hopefully someone here will know who created it.
First off, the entire video was filmed in India. It starts out with the lead singer walking into a small church there in India. As he opens the door, he shouts "Hello?", as if he's asking if anyone is in there (but it's empty inside). He then walks to the front of the church and sets down a guitar case, and then opens it up. That's when the music starts.
From there it shifts to various scenes, again all of them filmed in India.
One scene shows an Indian pastor preaching to his congregation, and later on baptizing some Christian converts. Another scene shows an Indian man standing in waist deep water with his hands together and shifting from side to side as he's praying. Another scene shows the lead singer talking to an elderly Indian woman sitting by the door of her small hut. Another scene shows the lead singer walking down some railroad tracks with about 20 or 30 young Indian children following behind him.
Every so often, they mix in a clip of the group performing the song in a concert.
There are some other scenes, of course, but at the end it shows a camel crossing a river that runs right behind the Taj Mahal, and then it shifts to the Taj Mahal itself.
Ok, hopefully someone who's watched that video will remember who the artist is, or the name of the song. I really loved the music to it and I want to book mark it again. Thanks!!
