Dear sister, that is so good that you would ask your dear brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for you. Surely our Heavenly Father, the very God of love, will burden some of our hearts to spend time in prayer for you.



O Heavenly Father, we bring our dear sister's situation to You. We believe that Your every thought toward our sister is a thought of deepest love. We ask You to dispel the confusion she is feeling by Your speaking deep within her. Yes, Father, do speak to her so tenderly, so gently, and so clearly. Speak to her of You perfect will for her. Thank You that Your word assures us that You are not a God of confusion, but a God of peace. Do become the peace our sister is thristing for. Amen.

Can I ask what it is that you might be confused about in your life right now?

When I am like that, I just try to place my confidence in my spiritual carer...He always knows what to do. I just heap it all up and give it to God.

Psalms 46:10 always comforts me...just to "be still and KNOW that I am God...."

The other verse that comes to mind right now is Proverbs 3:5, 6: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Just knowing that I am not to lean upon my OWN understanding sometimes helps - God sees the bigger picture and rest assured is caring for you right now...He sees what you dont sometimes, but He is there none the less, He cries with you, rejoices with you, is happy with you, sad with you - there is nothing He doesn't experience with you.

Sometime life and religion is confusing, but God is never that way.

May you have the peace of God on your heart right now - God be with you....

Hi mariposa,

There are many things that might cause confusion in a persons life one would have to know what the reason is to be able to address it properly and in its entirety.

But without that info let's at least assure you that God cares about what you are going through. Whether you know Jesus as your Saviour or not, the most important thing you can do is go to Him. So let us by the Word of God (Bible) establish that for you.

Jesus said,

Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

And again,
Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Peter taught,

1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Peace is a by product of salvation.

Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Jesus is the Prince of Peace

Go to your Prince of Peace and ask Him to help you, guide you in the area you need. Be patient and expect Him to help because He cares for you. If you don't know Him as your Saviour, it's not hard to change that, just ask Him to forgive you of your sins and give Him permission to come into your life. Without that permission He can't help you because He can't override your authority and He's legally bound from helping you all the way. But you need not fear to give your life to Him for He cares for you. Don't think of this in a religious way but as the other poster said, Just trust in Him with all your heart and He will do more for you than you could ever imagine.

Now if you are a Christian, we are told to LET the peace of God RULE in your heart.

Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

This means that when circumstances invade our lives as they do, we must rest and trust in God to show us what to do.

Practical Example:

After you have prayed and asked God to show you what you should do or which direction you should go in then imagine yourself going or choosing one way or the other. Like should I buy this car or should I not. Imagine yourself actually buying the car and then look for the inner peace. God will be there to show you. There is always an inward witness. Then put yourself in the other situation ... not buying the car. Which way gives you the most peace on the inside? Now that could apply to a job or getting married, moving out of town or whatever similar type of direction. All those things can bring confusion if we don't get the peace of God to RULE in our hearts on it. The devil will try to confuse us (but he's no match for us in the Lord).


This is something to practise and after a while you will have your senses exercised to discern between both good and evil.

Now I realize there are many more areas that cause confusion, spiritually, emotionally and mentally. These all have to be dealt with indivdually and in different ways. We can deal with that if you would like at another time.

For now, be assured that if you go and imagine yourself crawling up into the Father's lap He will receive you and will help you.

3. Start journaling. In other words, get a notebook or spiral-bound pad. Each day, write three things you are thankful for. Write your requests for the day. Pray the Lord's prayer. Listen for any kind of guidance the Lord might give you & write it down. Do this for 30 days to begin with.

I have already prayed for you. Don't be afraid to seek Godly wisdom from another mature believer. If you are confused about your plenty of people on this site and probably in your church that will be honest, discrete, and nonjudjmental.
