PLEASE HELP ME!

I moved to the midwest from Southern California. I do not have any friends. I'am looking for a stable entry level contract job. I do not have stable job experience. Homelessness is a possibility in 6 months. I feel lost in the world. I do not know what to do. Please help me.

Check a local employment agency. There are also websites that have job listings, help with resumes, and notify you when jobs come up. Maybe you can get some job to pay bills until the right one comes along.

Thanks for messaging me back. I have been to many employment agencies, mostly hire construction, labor, welder workers. Craiglist, is one of the websites I use, but no one calls me back from there. The local churches are not hiring either.

There are many delivery jobs (depending on where you live) that just utilize small vehicles (not your own) and don't require a commercial drivers license. Delivery of auto parts is a big one. As long as you have a good driving record these types of jobs are easy to come by....admitedly they only pay about 10-12/hr but something is better than nothing. I also live in the midwest, hence my familiarity with these positions......

I do not know the area too well, and my driving is in the beginner's mode, not used to the different weather conditions either regarding the driving jobs. I seriously do not know what to do.

How old are you?....I mean most people start driving about 16....there are always fastfood jobs. when you start out you can't be picky. Get any job earn a good rep and use that to move up.

Praying Sarah, that you will hear the Lord's Wisdom, in following His Steps in your life. Not having a stable job experience is possibly the problem, that means you may have to get what's available and not what you seek. If you believe you may be homeless in the future, begin now to research ways to prevent that, if you don't get a job. For example: Can you get un-employment benefits?
Are there jobs in the area where room and board are provided for in Home care? If this is an option then see what you need to be trained. Is there anything you can do now to cut expenses? God Bless You!

Thank you for messaging me back. I tried to applied for unemployment benefits but I did not qualify because of the non-stable job experience. There are no jobs with room and board here in the area where I live. A lot of businesses where I live are closed down. I have thousands of dollars in debt. I do not know anyone where I live. I seriously do not now what to do. Please help me with more advice.

I"am in my late 20's. My former employer in the food sector had a fire., the fire is under investigation Fast food jobs are not jobs to build job experience, basically for teenagers wanting to earn money for the summer in my opinion.

Go to the county social services office...they can point you in the right direction. Past that pray as if your life depended on it.

If you moved from California where there is no work to another location where there is no work, I wonder are you following your feelings somehow?
The Lord always has provided for me without my family or friends sustaining me. Be Still, take a deep breath, and Know that He will care for you. Focus your attention and surrender to Him, and His wisdom will guide you onto the path He has for you. You have a smart phone or a computer so Google what cities are hiring. What is your name? What part of the USA do you live? I had a fast food job, but there was a fire there, the fire is still under investigation. Fast food jobs in my opinion are for teenagers wanting to earn money for the summer., with no room for advancement. Housekeeping I can not do because I have respiratory allergies. I have a university degree, and fluencies in 3 languages. I"am good at computers. Math is not my strong subject. I'am looking for a stable entry level non-cashiering job, non-heavy duty job. Where would be your advice for me to look? What do you mean if I"am following my feelings? I pray every day, even have biblical scriptures posted on the wall too. Companies where I live have closed down, here. I do not know anyone in this state though. I"am also shy and silent. Do you have Twitter or Facebook?
