I will definitely be praying for you both. It sounds like she is very lucky to have you in her life and I'm sure you're doing everything you can to help her. But PLEASE don't ever blame yourself for what she's doing. No matter what happens, you're being a very good friend to her and doing as much as in your power to do. She's the one who has to make the choice to accept your help and the help of others. I'm so so sorry that you're having to go through this and I will keep you in my prayers. If you ever need to talk or anything you can always PM me.

As someone who lived with bullimia for 2 1/2 years i can honestly say i can relate to her feelings. I will pray for her, but something you need to do is to make sure that her family know what is going on. Don't keep what shes doing to herself a secret. This is her life that is on the line. Not only can it kill her, but there are other problems that can come from it later, like difficulty getting pregnant,esophogan cancer, among other things. God used my boyfriend(who is now my husband of 5 years)to help me to see that i was killing myself and to help me stop. God can use you too. Just be there for her and talk to her about dont pretend it's not a problem. I had someone who i cared about very much that i confided in about what i was doing to myself, he pretended there was nothing wrong and just ignored the fact, and even though i wanted to keep doing what i was doing it really hurt me that he didn't care enough to do whatever it took to help me(including telling my parents), so please i urge you to tell someone who can make her see a counselor. I'll keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers.

yeah, her parents know, and she's been at councilling for 4/5 months. everything that can possibly be done for her is being done for her

Terry, I want you to know something. God does not want anything bad to happen to her. He, more so than you can imagine, has plans for her to prosper.
He will however never force those plans on her or anyone else. I will pray that he will soften her heart to follow his will and guide her to follow his plans for her life. I will also pray that he would soften your heart and you would come to a point where you will ask Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and savior. If you did not only would you get all that comes with it, but you would add one more voice in the ears of God on her behalf. Ultimatly I pray that through answering both of these prayers that you will both discover the plans the Lord has for you both to prosper.

Honor to Your name and greetings to You my Lord. Your will and honor be upheld by all men. I pray that You be wiling to help this girl. You love her. If she knows You as it seems to be the case, then she should know more consciencely that her body is the temple to be used for holy living. Please help her realize that she is damagin the body and that by doing so it is ruining Your holy space. Yet, in the midst of the stress please comfort her with Your peace and help her to calm down from trying to reach something that may just not be her way to go. Please help her recoer and be healed from such a mind set like you did with me in that time in my life where I was being foolish and prideful in the midst of being depressed. and for you as well that you see the truth of God's word and come to the knowledge of His saving grace in Christ's name amen
God loves you and does not wish that you perish my friend. And He made a way for you that you might not and that way is thru His son Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever
believeth in Him would not perish but have everlasting life
And He is the only way to have peace and eternal life.

Our Father in Heaven,
We trust you that this friend of Terry's be healed of this dreadful sickness. Cause her to be awaken to the fact that she cannot live for others, but must live the life that is pleasing to you. Therefore we come against this sickness, and rebuke it in Jesus name. We believe this by faith that you are in control, and pray that your Will be done.

Simply fantastical!
I was in a similar situation, except I was the one with the low confidence issues and the eating problems. I will be praying for both of you!!!
trust me, it's possible for her to be healed. i'm eating and living again, and although Jesus is who carried me through, my best friend and boyfriend were there every step of the way to encourage me. encourage her. don't let her forget how beautiful she is to you and to God.
