There have been some good advice offerred here, but may I add that you should be discussing this with your pastor or a Christian mentor and then under their guidance and perhaps counseling, discuss this with your wife. I am certain it is the "spirit of this age" that promotes homosexuality, that is coming against you. There may be other scriptural references you may want to memorize and hold close to your heart, but the Lord spoke loudly to me in the spirit one night when darkness came upon my home. He said: "Remember the blood". The darkness was dispelled and I was able to go back to sleep. What He said had reference to the Jews when they were in captivity in Egypt and the death angel was about to be loosed over Egypt.

What darkness are you describing here? I think a lot of us can relate. I'd heard somewhere that covens/witches were casting their spells between 12-3 am and that is when spirits were out. This was a long time ago I heard it. But you know if you don't counteract that with the word, then it's easy to imagine something like this occuring in your home and get a little freaked. I know I did!

God assured us out salvation if we believed in him and acted upon it. If your trying to get rid of the homosexual thought pattern, of course your not going to hell. Jesus died on the cross to forgive us of our sins, hes already forgiven you of the sins you have commited, are commiting, and will commit.
