I have asked this question to many of my teachers, fellow christians that I highly respect and friends that are searching. And now I ask you all: What is Truth? Not, what is the Truth, b/c I know that Jesus is theWay, the Truth and the Life. I want your personal definition of Truth and what it means to you, please? Thanks so much for helping me in my quest for an answer!

Apologist, you totally took the fun out of that question. Unfortunately, I see nothing wrong with Webster's definition except that it took away my motivation for the philosophical exercise. Ah, well. I guess Jesus would be a fundamental and spiritual reality. So there's a thought.

I have to agree with Apologist (and Websters). Words mean what they mean. All to often people twist words with religious screws to make them fit what they're preaching. All this does is render the words menaingless. Good examples of this from these forums would be the words "proof", "evidence", "belief", and of course "truth".

i think truth exists outside self. that true is true, whether you feel it or not. how can something you feel be un-biased and un-scathed?
