Interesting you mention Plato. Plato is where we get our idea of the "one" from. Eventually much Western thought winds up back at him.

I love that quote. It's been written on my marker board at work for months now.

I thought it might discourage people from talking to me, but it hasn't worked yet!

Paraphrase: "It's better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt!"

On the other hand, they also may think you a mute.... and then the silences set in...

I do prefer to sit back and listen when two other folks are talking. It's when it's one on one that the cork comes out!
