  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

In the context of the Psalm, it appears to be those who would be gravitating toward David under false pretenses. David is going through quite a piece of self-examination at the outset of the psalm and what follows seems to be a comparison and contrast of purity and true intent v impurity and false intent.

So, who are the one about whom you ask? I would say those who say one thing and mean another.... to bring in a NT parallel...., maybe they are the ones who say "Lord, Lord"...yet he did not know them.

Thank you both, as I am new here and a Born-again Christian, I have much to learn, many questions, I am not happy about my past, but I am hopeful of my future in my believe in Jesus Christ. I have already begun to learn here at Christian Forums, some good , some bad, but learning none the less. I'm in such a hurry many times to be better than I am, that I miss what is front of me at the moment. I asked this paticular question, because all of my past associates have been of unsavory character and from which I have drawn much of my descision making skills.
