Hi, I was just wondering if anyone played planetside. I usually use login name: Yellow13 and I play on the Werner server.

I would love to try it, but haven't been able to due to a lack of recent hardware. What do you think of PS? I've heard there have been numerous problems with bugs and balancing.

I played it for a while. I played it enough to get to BR20, in fact (only CR2 though, as I never felt like leading squads).

I left it for several reasons, but the main reason why I left it is because SOE kept making these "performance optimizations" which in all actuality made the game run worse. There were also quite a few bugs and balance issues. It was pretty fun, and probably one of the more immersive FPSs I've played, but I've decided that MMOFPSs aren't a great thing, since the server capacity never allows for complex physics and such.

MMOFPS's are an awsome idea, and PS did a good job initially, but then they came out with that infernal expansion pack, and I dropped it. I think I was CR4 when I stoped playing. Stupid expansion. It WAS cool.

One of my friends play PS and I would probably play it but he does mention that there are a lot of bugs in the game. If it weren't for that I would probably want to try the game.
