  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Crow was closing in on the Pearl, about 25 stonethrows away."Load The Cannons!"Gorth yelled loudly. He saw one Fire and make contact with the ship. Gorth had an evil-looking grin on his face. Jack Sparrow's last days were happening. Davy had never taught Gorth how to make and control his own Kraken, so when Gorth reeleased it into open sea he was surprised.

The Black Pearl was hit with a cannon ball, when suddenly the ship stopped. When he heard, "We must have hit a reef!" Then, Jack's eyes widenned and he looked at the side of the ship, noticed tentacles coming up slowly, still underwater, and said, "Not again, I just had this boat rebuilt...* ABANDON SHIP!!! CAPTAINS NAMED JACK SPARROW FIRST!!!"

"We're looking for my mate's niece Miss Marina Swann," replied the second pirate boldly.
Surely, Jack shouldn't have forgotten about us.

Halik almost fell off the barrel as Misty started yelling. "Gorth Jones," she wondered as she watched the growing choas around her, "Why does that name sound so familar?"

"Brother!" she suddenly yelled, standing and searching the deck for Ragetti, or Patel. There was no sign of them though. "Probably took the first small boat he could find and ran," she mumbled, still looking around absentmindly for the two of them. Then her eye caught someone.

"You certainly get around," she said with a smile to the lady pirate-captain-whoever-she-was hiding under the stairs, "Do you enjoy being prey?" she joked, but then a cannonball hit the ship. It rocked fiercely and Halik gulped, thinking about how one eats their own words.

"Abandon ship! Captains named Jack Sparrow first!" Captain Jack suddenly yelled.

Halik turned from the lady under the stairs to see a large tentacle come up over the side railing of the Black Pearl. It was crushed like straw under the weight of the tentacle itself. Turning back to the lady under the stairs, she asked, "So shall we make hast? My name is Halik by the way. I somehow always end up getting involved with pirates somehow. No offense."

Misty gasped as a canon ball hit the ship a few feet from where she was standing. She started to run again when the boat suddenly stopped.

"We must have hit a reef!!" someone yelled. But Misty knew better. She knew what the last name Jones meant. The Kraken.

"Abandon ship! Captains named Jack Sparrow first!" Captain Jack suddenly yelled.

"Jack!!" she ran over to him.

"Jack there's no land for miles and miles!! How do you plan to survive in the open sea in a rowboat?!?!? Even if we could, there's not enough room for the whole crew!!"

Halik tried to stand up and yell for Misty, who seemed like she knew what was going on. Suddenly though, the ship was rocked violently and she was kocked on the ground against the barrels. She groaned and tried to stand up before the tentacle got any closer to her, or any further onto the ship.

Patel and Ragetti had been hiding in the lower decks of the ship, hoping to stay alive for the time being. Once the ship was stopped though, Ragetti let out a whimper.

"I don't think we're very safe anymore," he said.

Patel rolled his eyes at Ragetti's obvious remark. "Come on, we'd better get out outta here with the rest of the crew."

Then when the Kracken rocked the boat, the two men almost flew off their feet. They looked at each other with wide eyes as the faint sound of water leaking into the ship filled their ears.

"I don't think we hit something, Patel," Ragetti said slowly.

Patel swallowed hard and looked around, "You're right. I think something hit us. and I don't think it's done neither."

After a pause, they both scrambled to get up to the deck of the Black Pearl, hoping there'd be a small boat with a little room left in it.

((Renight-yes!! Davy Jones was my favorite character from the second movie...by far!!! It'd be fun to have another character roaming about as well. Welcome!))

Halik was getting confused. she wasn't making the connection as to who this Gorth Jones was.

"He's the son of Davy Jones!" The first pirate said.

Halik smacked herself in the forehead, "Of course! She said to herself, "I knew it! How could I not remember that? I must be too much of a landlubber...or something." Just then the tentacle moved again suddenly and Halik came out of her thoughts.

"Hey, I agree with the general opinion that this is a bad thing," Halik yelled to no one and everyone in particular, "But we need some sort of course of action...preferrably one that leads us off this ship and toward a nice patch of dry land!!"

Halik went to check on the small boats, when another tentacle joined the first, right over the small boat on that side. Halik swallowed hard and looked ot the others for a plan B.

Just then Patel and Ragetti ran up onto the deck, where Ragetti ducked behind Patel in efforts to hide from the sudden dirty look his sister gave him.

"You heard the Captain!" Gibbs yelled from the upper deck, "We best be abandoning this ship if we know what's good for us!" That, of course, made the majority of the crew run around insanely even more.

After seeing Halik distracted, the lady pirate laughed...The kraken....
She ran into the Jack's head quarters. Look franticly for that bag. While she was looking she "borrowed" some things.
"Ah there it is finally!" She smiled. She grabbed the bag that contained a dress,weapons, and belongings, under Jack's desk.
What a scallywag...
Then she ran to the poop deck...she notice her ship was hundred yards away. (her ship is different like the Black Pearl)
She ran to the side of the Pearl where her small boat was.
"Captain!!! Look its me ship!" She yelled.
