We're making a party of it. My husband and I and all of our kids and some of their friends are going to the drive in tomorrow night. Can't wait!

Last year a bunch of the kids dressed up as the characters. I should try to post a photo here. One of my older girls has long dark hair. She went as Jack!:)

I want my jar of dirt!

Really? Well #2 was definitely made to have a sequel.
They're saying this is the last one, but who knows?
Yeah, they're saying this is the last one, that's the problem! :(

But there have been rumors about a possible Pirates 4... I hope it's true. AWE just didn't feel like an ending to me.

We watched Pirates 3 today. Fantastic movie, best I've seen this year. Like a friend of mine said, it could be the best in the trilogy. I loved the multiple twists and turns, the deep plot, and that they didn't tone down the violence to make it a kid friendly movie.

As for there being a 4th, it won't happen. Someone should have waited till the end of the credits to see the last part.

I didn't, but I know what happened. The truth is, I could care less about those characters. I just wanna know what happened with my favorite one! :p

^Is trying really hard not to give out anything that's even remotely related to spoilers.

For those who didn't see the part after the credits, here it is:

It goes back to the beach where Will and Elizabeth were at last, only 10 years later. Elizabeth is walking to the coast waiting for the sun to go down and see the sky light up upon Wills return. With her is her and Will's son. Flash of light, Will shows up on his boat. Kiss, end.

There is talk about making a fourth. Rossio, one of the writers, said he was interested in working on a fourth script, but they would only consider it if they thought they could make it good.

Frankly, I hope it ends at three and remains a trilogy. Four might be pushing the buttons trying to upstage the other three. Plus, Knightly already announced she wouldn't be part of the fourth if she's asked. Depp said he would consider it though.

I thought it was better than the second film but not as good as the first. It could have been a good hour shorter. And I missed the bit after the credits! Grr!

I saw it today and I loved it. Well I love almost all of Johnny's films.

As for a Pirates 4, he says he's not ready to retire Captain Jack just yet (I savvy! )

Here's part of an article to prove it:

Johnny Depp, whose swishy swashbuckler has charmed his way through three Pirate films, has expressed his willingness to wear the hat again. According to Entertainment Weekly, a fourth film in the franchise would likely be a spin-off following the outrageous adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, who is credited by many as the reason behind the films' success. Whether or not the other cast members would be interested is still open, but Depp has already let it slip he'd be willing.

"As long as you're doing it for the right reasons, why not?" said Depp. "If we came up with a story where we could explore something absurd or funny or totally insane." Those particular adjectives sum up Sparrow well.

With the right script and a director willing to be a little outrageous, a fourth movie has potential.
