CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It told me I had to wait and I ended up getting an email invite not too long after. (That's when I was away, so I wasn't paying attention to when I got the email.)

Pinterest is a bit like Tumblr, you can create boards and organising them according to interest then float around the web pinning whatever captures your interest or repinning from other people on the site.

I love browsing on Pinterest. The problem is that it feels like I've only been on for 10 minutes when an hour has actually passed. Not a great site to visit if I've got lots to do.

I was annoyed by that, too, but you only need to do that to establish the account. Once the account is made, you can unlink the two (and I have). It was nice to have people to instantly follow, though, since it hooked me up with all of my Pinterest FB friends.

I think you can sign up another way; but even if you do sign in using FB you can change your Pinterest preferences to drop the link to your FB and even change your Pinterest name so you are not using your real name.

Okay i'm on pinterest, addicted already. Was wondering though, what does it mean when I make a new board and it asks me if it's just me pinning stuff or would I like other people to pin stuff on my board as well?
