I too object to 'pictures' of Christ and find them blasphemous! Christ is wholly man and wholly God and there is no way to capture His deity. It is also a breach of the second commandment. It is so prevalent today that it would seem almost impossible to stop seeing those drawings. 'Pictures' of Christ are used in teaching little children who He is and from then on the child sees Christ according to the ubiquitous drawing and not as Spirit as we are taught to worship Him. If each believer would voice their objections with valid reasoning it may be possible to evoke a change! That is the reason you shoul bother as change occurs one step at a time!
