I've got some that would look good here, the problem is that I don't have them readily accessible. I'd have to post them here as attachments and this forum is a fussbudget about how many attachments I can have. So, I'll have to investigate something like Photobucket first.
Photobucket is pretty easy. I have had mine for about 7 years now..I love using it..However, I actually link some to facebook, lol..
I'd love to see the pics..

My daughter loves photography. I got her a Canon Rebel T2 I for Christmas..She cried she was so excited..
I got her leftover..It is an Olympus ..I bought it about a year or so ago for Christmas for her. That one cost about $350. It's a good one too..The one I had has some problems but still usable, Nikon Coolpix 15x widezoom..it's a really good one too..
What cameras do you all use? I want to start my own business using photos..

Nothing fancy at the moment. I used to be a photographer IRL would love to do it again. Used to manage a couple of children's/family photography studios and I've done a few weddings working as assistant photographer. Right now I just have a point and shoot Sony Cyber shot. I really love it but can't really do professional pictures with a little point and shoot. They might want to shoot me lol.

There are some pretty darn good shots taken with those types of cameras :) That's what we used for years.

Michelle, I'd never heard of those mountians before. That is one pretty view. Tho so different than anything I've ever lived near.

Seriously? There's supposedly gold up in them there hills.

The legend of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine centers around the Superstition Mountains. According to the legend, a German immigrant named Jacob Walzer discovered a mother lode in the Superstition Wilderness and revealed its location on his deathbed in Phoenix in 1891 to Julia Thomas, a boarding-house owner who had taken care of him for many years. Several mines have been claimed to be the actual mine that Walzer discovered, but none of those claims have been verified.[1]
Some Apaches believe that the hole leading down into the lower world is located in the Superstition Mountains. Winds blowing from the hole are supposed to be the cause of severe dust storms.[3]

I got my degree in advertising specializing in photography. I used 4x5 cameras a lot, Speedotron lights, you name it. Digital might be convenient but even these ultra mega pixel cameras can't hold a candle to something shot on a 4x5 using Fujichrome Velvia. It just can't touch it.

Never used a 4 x 5 camera but I DO agree with you. Digital is just convenient and sufficient and easily manipulatable. So post us a picture from your 4 x 5. Love to see your work.

Problem is that I don't have a scanner capable of scanning a 4x5 transparency. That takes a specialized type of scanner and they are very expensive. I did a couple of rolls of 35mm with Velvia and I might scan and post a couple of those. It can produce a level of contrast and color saturation that I've never seen a digital camera be able to capture.
