I think it is a mistake for you to claim the existence of external laws that govern
You're right, but I'm going to expand on that for @Mark Quayle

The "laws" of physics don't cause things to behave the way they do. They describe how things act. They aren't a force in themselves; they're just a description of what particles do when affected by forces.

Obviously. It's a figure of speech. The law of gravity doesn't cause anything. Our descriptions, concepts and configurations of cause-and-effect are ours alone, and not truth in themselves.

Brought WHAT into existence —time, reality, existence itself?

I think it is a mistake for you to claim the existence of external laws that govern

If anything exist (even God); time exists. When Einstein and others speak of before time existed, this has to be before God existed. If you believe God has always existed, you are disagreeing with Einstein and others.
How so?

Yes.

If God is a Sentient being, the concept of time can be applied to his actions.
How was it a mistake for me "to claim something brought it into existence"?

Wow! So you too hold to Primacy of Consciousness, like another who claims Primacy of Existence?

How so? Explain, don't just assert.

Perhaps it has always existed, thus it was never brought into existence

What is Primacy of Consciousness and Primacy of Existence?

Yes. I have no choice but to assume that which appears real according to my 5 senses, IS real.
Yet, you too admit that what is real, is real whether your five senses pick up on it or not, no?
