CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah me too. He was quite a hottie before he took off his mask. I thought it was pretty cool how he couldn't go through with marrying Christine when he knew she didn't really love him. I cried when she gave the ring back.

Well I totally didn't mind the whole disfigerment thing. I thought that other dude who Christine loved would have gotten over the whole Christine has left me for the phantom thing but I think Christine could have helped the Phantom had she not abandoned him. She could have forsaken her happiness to try and help him and make him happy if just for a little while.

Hmm, I liked the movie, but there was something lacking.... I don't know...hmm...it had really good bits, but I came out wanting more of something..not sure what...

I agree with you there. And I didn't get some of the editing and effects they used and what exactely was the purpose of them. The special effects at the beginning were good with the Theatre.

I have seen it. Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of the greatest composers of Broadway mega-hits and the movie sticks to his Broadway production very well.
It is based on a very old story by Gaston Leroux, written in French in 1910. It is a ghotic novel, and I don't know that the reading is as much fun without Webber's music.

i saw it at the theatre with school and loved it. gosh those people are so talented, and the phantom was rather creepy. The music is great and i love the film too.
