Pets when CF closes down . . .

is of concern to me. Are they fed and cared for during those times or what happens to them?

I tried to come in here off and on all day Friday to no avail. I usually come in to put my pet in daycare for the weekend since I don't have computer access over the weekend but wasn't able to. Luckily I made it just in time on Monday before things turned for the worse and my virtual pet ended up . . .

Anybody know?

That is a good question! Does CF close down a lot or for long periods of time? I am new so that was the first time it happened for me.

no giddyjenn, CF doesn't usually close down very often or for long periods of time. i'm glad you thought it was a good question too! bless you.

Usually when CF goes offline "time" freezes for the pets. No-one looks after them really, but they don't get any hungrier. Whenever Erwin announces a pre-planned offline period, I usually put my pet in daycare just in case I'm caught unawares when CF comes back online.

It's actually a good idea to put them in daycare for major overhauls because some people had problems feeding their pets when CF was back online after the last major software upgrade.

I've never had my pet go "ill" due to down time. I will feed the pet above though because she may not be able to log in.
