pets and adopting out

There have been a lot of new pets created lately...although there are a lot of pets in the adoption center or owned by petWORKERS....

originally we had pets on the petworker accounts to try and find new homes for them...adn then adopted a new one....

there also is/was a thread in the main forum where each one of us used to have a post we could update with information about the pet we currently had in care and where searching for a new home for....but that thread is a total mess now - and not all of us do have posts there...

so I thought we might start of a new thread like that in here...and when each of us has posted there once we can have it moved out into the main forum and made a sticky

this is just a thread to talk about that idea now...if we agree on making a new thread like that I think DrCF should make the opening post - like in the old thread...with giving members a little information about adopting a pet from a petworker and a link to the petFAQ in the EM room where they can find inforamtion about pet care.....

A resounding "YES" from me, good !

When I went to put Iggy in the "Pet Parade", to show him off, I noticed there hadn't been any updating in most of the posts for a long time. Also, there hasn't been traffic there in awhile, maybe this will help highlight this great option again. Others may not even be aware of this, as it is kinda lost in the stickies and kinda confusing, IMHO.

I have made the start of cleaning out the stickys in the public forum. I will make an attempt to work on the pet parade today. Meh is working on it with me. I try to make a fast glance at all the post before I have them moved. Slow process.
