Learning to be a pet worker 101
These Rules have been put in place by DoctorCF and many of the workers here have made their suggestions and many if not most have been included with this post. A pet worker with 3 months on the job may feel free to send DoctorCf your suggestions and after Doctorcf has given you her response and you do not agree with her decission you may set up a poll in the private pet forum and voice your opinions. It will take 20 votes agreeing with your suggestion and then the leaders will have a meeting and give your suggestions futher consideration. DoctorCF will always retain the right to be the tie breaker if needed, otherwise DoctorCF will not vote.
This is a ministry we are here to help not judge. 
As pet workers we are limited to when we can feed the pets. 
WHEN TO FEED THE PET
Feed pets when they reach the hunger levels of 75%-90% Hunger. Please try to get to them before they reach 100% Hunger.
A pet will loose hunger at 1% per hour or more sometimes..
So every 24 hours your pet will gain 24% hunger.
We have a small window of time to feed the pets before they reach that dangerous zone of 100% hungry
.***Make special effort to keep the pet's pleasure up 75% to 100%. This is just as important as feeding them.
We have to check on the pets every other to keep them in the safe zone.
We are limited to when and how we feed the pets because they do not belong to us.
We can not just take over a pet from the owner. Our job is to be here when a pet has been forgotten to be fed or the owner has not signed on for 3 days or so and the pet has been not taken care of.
WE ARE PETRESCUERS AND NOT BABY SITTERS.Please remember to play with the pets as much as possible to keep the pleasure up high. If a pet has lost it pleasure down to 60-75% you can buy a pillow at the toy store for 9 blessing and it will add 25% to the pleasure level.
***All pets eat chicken and it will save you time to feed them chicken because you can keep your inventory filled with chicken.
However each pet has it's own special food if you want to go that route.***You will find most members feed their pets and we hardly ever have to feed them.
*** We have many abandoned pets and when an owner has not been online for 30 days then that pet is listed as abandoned.
***Read all the post in the private forum that you have time to read. You will pick up some good information along the way.
***Ask questions and read the discussion boards and learn from others. Anyone will be glad to answer your questions or tell you who to pm to find out. .
We are all here to do the same job. We all work together and the most important thing is to keep your work load light and enjoy your time with the pets.
When you are happy the pets are happy. If the pets are not happy, The Leaders are not happy.
We all make mistakes and feed the wrong pets and forget to do a million things but as long as we are doing our best it will all work out.
Every day is different. we have new pets created everyday and our list will change as we have to work the new pets in.
Sometimes you will see a pet with KF by it and that means keep full. It is usually a worker's pet or someone we know and are taking care of their pet for them.
A pet is abandoned when the owner has not signed on in 30 days. At that time we send the pet link to CFFosterAngel4 and she will list it in the abandoned pets list.
We never stop feeding the abandoned pet.
We have them listed in the public pet forum and because they are the fastest growing team we have at this time, we have had to assign workers to help feed the Abandoned pets. There was a time when members could come into the forum and check on the pets and feed them. We only had a few so there was no need to set up teams of workers to feed them. Anyone and everyone is asked to help feed the abandoned pets when they have a few minutes. Just because someone's name may be on the list does not mean you can't feed them. They are now listed in the public pet forum and you are welcomed to feed them if you have time.Everyone is responsible for the Abandoned pets.
Sometimes an owner will tell us not to feed their pets or not so often anyway. They receive a pm automatically when we bless their pets and I know how upsetting all the pms from petworkers is so we try very hard to keep the owner and the pet happy.
When someone ask us not to feed their pet anymore then we put DNF next to that pet on your list to help remind you to do not feed. :o
This is a rule made by CF Forum and CF Pet Forum has to follow every rule of CF Forum.
If you find a pet at 100% hungry save the pet and fill it up to 0%Hungry and 100% everything else.
You will find shots in the vets store and toys for pleasure in the toy stroe. I use the pillow to raise pleasure 25% and the large ball to raise pleasure 50%.
To raise the health bar, the long bar below pleasure and happiness, use large herbal shots to raise health 50%.
You will learn all this as you go along and always pm for help when needed.
In a few days you will begin to see a pattern or what pets are fed regular by their owners and what pets are not.
Most people feed their pets but sometimes the best of intentions don't get done and that is why we are here. We all have plans for tomorrow but sometimes those plans take a different turn.
People have emergencies, they get sick, they have accidents, their computer goes out (and this happens a lot.) their internet service goes out, their power goes out, I could go on and on but these things happen everyday to many people and that is why most of the pets get left behind and when the owner does come back on and finds they still have their pets they are so thankful.
Yes, sorry to say we have a few (3-4) that has told us to leave their pet alone. This we have to follow. That is the Rules from CF. Most of these people will eventually put their pet up for adoption
This will be a hard lesson to learn and be able to accept but it will come. You are not here to judge the owner as to why or why not they do or don't feed their pet. We don't live in a perfect world and none of us are perfect.
Compassionate people have strong feeling about life. These pets will become real to you or almost and you will experience a range of emotions becausse you can't understand why people won't feed their pets.
Everyone that works in this forum have had to fight this battle within themselves.
What we have to remember at the end of the day we are here for all and not just one.
For that reason we have to keep the big picture in mind and do our best and enjoy our work and be determined to do what we do unto God and look to Him to help us keep a good atitude.
You must never be rude to a pet owner and if a pet owner sends you an angry pm you are to forward it to your leader and let your leader or DoctorCF take care of it.
You will learn all you need to know as you go along. Your leader will train you how to feed the pets if you don't know how. It is all very simple and after a few days things will begin to make more sense that they do at first.
Take your time and learn as you go. Help will be available when you need it.
You will not be left alone until you know what you are doing which will take about 30 minutes. You will need to refer back to this post several times until you can remember it all.
Note: Team Hope Leader CFPetRescuer6/bfly and Team Love/CFFosterAngel31 requires you to send a pm each day when you have checked your pets and the estimated count of blessings you have used. This is the only way we have of knowing the pets have been checked and are taken care of. If we don't get a pm from you saying "pets checked" then we have to go check your list of pets. If we have to check your pets then we need to find someone else to do the job.
You will have a link on your list of pets to click on to send the pm to CFPR6/bfly and CFFosterAngel31/Bonnie.
Please report no less than every two days. If you don't want to report blessings fine but if you don't report you have checked your pets then you will be ask to step down.Team Faith is using the sign in post with the estimated count of blessings used.
If you don't know yet which team you will be on don't worry about it.
Your Leader will make sure you know what to do.
Sometimes we use new workers on all the teams, the rules are the same for each team.
We have 4 Leaders and they work perfect together.
Blessings will be furnished for you to do your job.
We have people that use pet accounts and people that use their personal accounts. Either way is fine.
Most of our workers do use the pet accounts.
If you want to use our pet account you will be furnished a pet account and 500 blessings to get your account set up.
These blessings will buy your character and dress and we do require you put your personal account name on the custom title up at the top of your page.
We can help you with that if you don't know how.
We ask you to fix your siggy at the bottom of your page to look and say something like the others.
Please just look around and see how everyone else has fixed theirs and if you need help with that we can help you with that.

Our abandoned pets are posted in the public pet forum and an emergency room for new owners that need help to come and learn how to take care of their pets.
We have Daycare and Adoption Center where owners can put the pet up for adoption or if they are going to be away for an extended period of time many of them put their pets in daycare.
Adoption Rules for pet workers is 500 blessings is tops. Please help us stop people from placing pets up for adoption just to make money on them. Do not adopt pets or encourage others to adopt a pet for more than 500 blessings. When people learn they will lose their blessings when a pet is over 500 blessings, then maybe the word will get out pets will not be adopted for more than 500 blessings.
