  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Oh yes, I have definitely been critisized more than once for this. All of my "kids" and I have conversations. They love it & it honestly does make them smarter in their own way. Plus they tend to trust you more. How can you not love them as a child? One look & that's all it takes to fall in love :)

Sometimes it does seem like your pet can understand you. ;)

Yes it does :) In fact, I have a cute story to back that up. The other day I had a family member over at my house. One of my cats, Sugar, was looking at them. They said, "Hey Sugar" and she walked towards them. Then she said, "I don't want nothin' to do with ya." (jokingly) Sugar turned her head in a "full of attitude" kind of way and walked back towards me :D

I think pets are smarter than what people give them credit for sometimes ;)

I agree whole-heartedly! Especially cats because they make you earn their affection. Although I love the look in my dogs eyes when I talk to him and he [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] his head back and forth as if processing what I am saying before going and doing/getting what I ask.

My dogs, all six of them, sleep with us. They all eat holistic food (human grade Solid Gold or Canidae dry food) Then I cook them wet food to mix in or when I am lazy I buy Solid Gold can food or Evangers "Buffalo" or Turkey and sweet potatoes.

The short haired one has sweaters and a top coat.

We proabaly shouldn't have but they are all allowed on the furniture! :p

My parents did not want to leave thier dog in a boarding place so they bought a giant RV to travel with!

 Exactly! My dog Angel does the same thing that yours does. I think it's adorable. It's as if they're saying to you, "Hang on a second, I'm just thinking first."

I know this is somewhat off topic, but you & I should go rounds. I see that you have Brett Favre as your avatar. I'm a Minnesota Vikings fanatic :D What's the matter with you? :p Just kidding hon.
