פסח ומשיח – PESACH & MASHIACH
Purim is coming this weekend, but as soon we finish the feast of Purim we start thinking on the next important holiday, Pesach. A time to remember our redemption from Mitzrayim (Egypt) and to look forward to the ultimate Redemption with Melech HaMashiach at the head of such wonderful event! We Messianic Jewish believers see the first days of Pesach the emphasis is on the exodus from Mitzrayim, Israel's first redemption. We also see the Mashiach's death and resurrection as the ultimate price that our G-d had to pay for us to be Tahor (clean) before Him through the blood of His holy Mashiach, Yeshua! (Yeshayahu 53) We must celebrate such event with much joy, and much respect, after all the redemption process has been started. And this is why we believe: "The very purpose of relating the story of the exodus from Mitzrayim is to awaken and strengthen the faith of Israel in general and faith in the return of Mashiach in particular. For this faith itself will bring about the actual redemption, just as it happened originally that "Our ancestors were freed from Mitzrayim by virtue of faith." That is, emuna / faith in Mashiach!
Happy Purim!
