CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

any question hmmmm....
what do you think we should do about homosexuality? are are efforts helping or hurting? I don't believe in it and think its a mortal sin but sometimes I wonder, cause at one point I was really active in bashing gay people and trying to warn them about the Hell they will ultimately face. But after a while and few choice word encounters between gays and atheists and my girlfriends, I've wondered.... should we try to help? or are we just not helping at all?

First off, interesting question(s).
I do believe that it is a sin, but so are a lot of other things. All unsaved people need the Gospel, and need to know what lies ahead in eternity. It's just that it needs to be said in a kind and loving manner. Even if they reject or mock what you're saying to them, at least you're doing your part in getting out that message. Some can be very abrasive when it comes to certain groups of people and that only hinders the work of the church in reaching the lost.

ya i wish we could help but they just get outraged and don't wanna hear it.
problem is that i want them as friends and i don't want to alienate. theres this lesbian girl that we know from high school and we love her, shes just like us. although we have felt kinda akward at times when we are at the pool in our bikinis and shes being turned on by us so thats kinda weird. and then showering after with her in the locker rooms was kinda weird as well. she just kept staring at us. but we still want her as a friend but she says if we start with 'the gay stuff' then shes not gonna hang out w/ us anymore

I understand, that can be a difficult situation to be in. I hope and pray she will come around in due time.

I will go with cats, though I've never had my own pet. I have bad luck with dogs.
Difficult choice, but I will go with June.
I haven't really ever considered that before, but I will go with true. Attitude can have an effect on how a person does in life, though it's not the only thing that has an effect. Pretty much if you think negative all the time your attitude will reflect that, same with positive thinking.

Pepsi is my favorite.
That's a tough one. In MI I would have to go with one of my few trips to Frankenmuth, a really cool Bavarian town/tourist attraction. Or Cedar Point which was a lot of fun both times I went.
