perfect man with unperfect creation

to my understanding, God is the only perfect being in this world
to my understanding, we humans are not perfect
to my understanding, God created us
If God is perfect, then how is it that he created unperfect human beings?
It is like a perfect musician who create unperfect music, a perfect artise who create unperfect piece of art...it is impossible!

The quickest answer, currently, that I can give is that in the creation story, God said after each creation "It is good" not "It is perfect". For something to be good does not mean it has to be perfect. God did create us, that is true, God also gave us the freedom to choose. It was through that freedom to choose we fell away from God, but through Christ, we have reconciliation.

But, most importantly, good does not equal perfect. My children are good kids, they are far from being perfect.

God put Adam in the Garden of Eden with a devil for a reason - to give Adam a choice. Otherwise, man would not be the creation He wanted; not being a robot, but something that He could have as family, like Himself in ways where deeper fellowship and love could be expressed.
If you were going to create a being for yourself, to have fellowship with, would it be a slave or would it have choice? I guess it would depend on what you wanted in that creation, wouldn't it?

To complete this line of thought. Adam could have chosen to be perfect and to be in God's perfect will. Unfortunately, his choice, to be out of God's perfect will, set his descendants up for imperfection. We are imperfect because of Adam's sin - not because God actually created us in an imperfect state.

We are imperfect because we can and do choose to disobey God. We have a proclivity to sin. And the smallest sin still makes one imperfect.

If God is perfect, then how is it that he created unperfect human beings?

God created man to be perfect, never intending him (man0 to die or suffer in hell. But when man believed Satan, he left the God's side and joined up (chosing to be identified) with Satan. Through this death and sin entered into the world... And every man to be born would be born into Satan's service... that's as simple as I can think to put it...

Your exactly right; God is perfect. In fact he is the only pefect thing. Humans, nature, etc. are only reflections of God's perfectness, humans being the closest as they are made in his perfect image. God being the only perfect being would actually have to create Himself for anything he creates to be perfect (in the God sense not human sense of the word).
The idea of God creating another God like Him is ridiculous for than he would be sharing His throne; and He will not give His glory to another. He is it. For us to be perfect we would have to be God!

There are no perfect musicians and artists because art and music is subjective in the eye of the beholder. Not so with God. We are not perfect for a perfectly good reason, otherwise we would have no need for God. He is perfect, and that sounds like a good reason for this sinner to praise Him!
