Have you ever brought a friend to a church service and they get scared? A friend of mine was once looking through photos on my iPod and came across a video I took of my church one day when the Holy Spirit was moving. People were dancing in the spirit and all.
My friend, who is a non-practicing catholic I guess, was appalled and actually frightened. I didn't know how to respond? Which made me feel pretty awkward. I told her that it was people feeling the Holy Spirit and she really just didn't understand.
How do you get rid of someones fear of something like this? I'd hate to think if I ever invited her to church she'd be scared to go!
