A small snip-it from Joyce Meyer's latest news letter. I thought it was good food for thought.

People can drive you crazy.

There is one interesting thing about people... they are everywhere. It seems that we don't know how to live with them, but we can't live without them either.

God has shown me that many of the problems we deal with in our relationships are control issues. The truth is that we want control. We would prefer for others to live and act the way we want them to. However, Romans 12v16 tells us something very different;

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty snobbish, high-minded, exclusive, but readily adjust yourself to people, things and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.

The A postle Paul is telling us that if we want to have better relationships, we are going to have to learn how to adapt and adjust. We can't just take people and make them what we want them to be.

Now we have two choices.

1. You can drive yourself crazy trying to change them yourself, or.....

2. You can learn to trust God, pray for that person, and believe that God
will do what needs to be done in His perfect timing.
