Peculiar attractions... ?

Hey guys,

Any of you have any strange things that you are attracted to?

For me - and I have absolutely no idea why, but I am extremely attracted to goth girls. There is just something about pasty porcelain white skin, jet black hair, dark eyeliner, and pseudo-prep clothing that I find irresistable.

It's not only looks though... for some reason, most of the time it's their personalities that make me most attracted to them. Every girl I have ever known like this is usually highly intelligent, very sarcastic sense of humor, and we somehow always manage to be in to the same things like music, movies, etc... (I am nowhere near goth style btw)

Does anyone else have anything that would be considered abnormal that they find themselves drawn to? Please don't make me the only one

Of course not! I would love to hear the opinions of everyone. In fact... I'd love to hear some of the weird things that girls were attracted to!

I'm drawn to guys with red hair and guys who are like extremely tall (6'5" and beyond)...I don't know why. I guess I like to strain my neck to look up at a guy lol.

I went through a phase during my Sylvia Plath worshiping, self-mutilation addiction, sit in my room and cry while listening to Slipknot days in which I was attracted to Goth guys. I've since gotten out of that.

I'm a sucker for men who have shaved heads or hair just long enough to fall in their eyes if they don't brush it back. One or the other. In my past, I only dated two redheads and one blonde guy. I tend to go more for dark haired men.

Now these are not my criteria by any means, but what instantly attracts me to a guy:
Blonde hair, I actually like the shaggy look. Crystal blue eyes. Gotta be taller than me, so anything over 5'7, but I def like taller than 6'. The weird part- most of the guys I have been instantly attracted to all had big noses...now this is not meant as a slur of any kind, but my dad is Prussian Jew and has a jewish nose...that's the kind of nose I like. Go figure!

i tend to like guys with that indie rock look--shaggy, longish hair, scruffy face. they often tend to not be the stereotypical "good looking" guy. i tend to not go for either the clean-cut j-crew guys, business men, or jocks. give me your little, malnourished, dirty-haired indie rocker and i'm sold. although it kinda irritates me when the guy ends up being 10 lbs skinnier than me....i like the non-mainstream kind of guy--interests that are indie music, film, philosophy, etc. all my friends who like your "normal" business man find my tastes in guys odd, but if you're into the indie rock scene, you find all the guys i like hot...but i'm not talking about metrosexuals. not into guys that spend more time in the bathroom than me.

i've also been attracted to dorky guys. like really nerdy. but i've never dated anyone like that. it's more of an afar thing. i always have my dorky crush.

i like guys who are filmakers as well. something artistic, but not painting or sculpture.

i like when guys get all nervous and vulnerable around me. i think it's cute.

Nerdy? I'm a librarian. Longish hair, scruffy? Got it. Malnourished? All I've consumed today is coffee. Non-mainstream interests? Oh yeah... Let's party, Nico...

I may have mentioned this in another thread... I'm strangely attracted to dreadlocks, as long as they're clean and not reeking too much of patchouli oil. Especially on a ragamuffin art-school kinda chick, oh man it kills me!
